Spiritual Formation
Resources
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement you faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.
2 Peter 1:3-9
Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
No matter the practice, we must always enter in with a posture of humility. We are desperate for the Holy Spirit to illuminate truth, convict our hearts, and lead us in understanding. We desire to do all things WITH Him, not independently, and in His power, not our own. Apart from Him we can do nothing.

John 15:1-2
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Psalm 143:5-6
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the works of your hands. I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
Selah
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.
Worship
Whether we let worship be sung over us, intentionally sit with the lyrics, or fully engage vocally, God can use the art of music to reach pockets of our heart that might not be unlocked otherwise. In both the most painful and joyous moments and seasons, God has directed me to worship in a variety of ways that has deepened His work and intention in my life.
I will rotate pieces from month to month and pray the Holy Spirit ministers to you through them.
